While I fell for the first book, this story just sealed the deal. There are moments that made me swoon and some that brought me to tears. I just love how much they own each other completely and how soul-deep their connection is. The one bright spot in her universe is her secret letters to the man who saved her life and who owns her heart. She’s been hit with cancer, practically abandoned by her family, and forced to put on a show for the world.

Then there’s poor Lou who has been dealt the worst possible hand in life. In my head the entire time I was just picturing a badder looking version of Jason Momoa (can you blame me? Visuals, people!) and wheeeeew.

He’s a family man through and through and lives by his own code. Mayors daughter and MC Prez? How could I possibly resist? I’m so happy I read it because I got to meet the man behind the monster and he is endlessly SWEET (even if he would grunt in denial). Obviously after salivating over Zeus in the first book I immediately dove into his story. This is Daddy Zeus Garro’s story from Lessons In Corruption. Only, I didn’t know that Zeus Garro was the President of The Fallen MC and when you made a deal with a man who is worse than the devil, there was no going back… So, when I finally ran into the man I’d been writing to since he saved my life as a little girl and he offered to show me the dark side of life before I left it for good, I said yes. I was a seventeen-year-old paradigm of virtue and I was tired of it. What the hell kind of reward was that for a boring life well lived?
